IS DR ISATOU TOURAY VYING FOR THE PRESIDENCY?
There is every reason to believe that Dr. Isatou Touray is also offering herself as a candidate in the 2016 presidential election. Foroyaa will cover the official declaration of her candidature whenever it is scheduled.
As it stands, aside from Dr. Touray, three people have declared their candidature. Halifa Sallah of PDOIS was the first to have his candidature declared at a convention. This was followed by Dr. Lamin Bojang of the National Convention Party (NCP) and finally Mama Kandeh of the GDC also declared his candidature. If Dr. Isatou Touray declares hercandidature the opposition would have four candidates ready to participate in the 1 December 2016 presidential election. Will there be other candidates? Will they form a coalition? These questions are waiting for answers.
